- “ INNOVATION JOCKEY 2012 “ by ACCENTURE : The Project submitted by our students has recently been short listed as 1 among a total of 15 Projects selected at National level in the in recently held Innovative event “ INNOVATION JOCKEY 2012 “ conducted by ACCENTURE & powered by Yahoo ( India ). This is the only Project selected among the Engg. Colleges in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
- Mobi-Wiz Competition by TCS : In National level Mobi-Wiz Innovative Competition organized by TCS, 2 IES student teams were shortlisted among top 12 for presentation at Chennai. Out of this 1 team qualified in the final round at 2nd place and provided internship, i-pad along with provisional offer letter.

The Department of Placement & Training is recognized for its ability to plan and implement value added programs such as the Personality development programs, Technology Training Programs and Bridge Courses in the areas of interest and requirements for the industry. This adds to the credentials of the students and builds the quality of the engineering professionals from the college.
Placement and Training Department is also providing necessary Pre-Placement Training for the pre-final year students in the form of Pre-Placement talks arranged of various industries / corporate, training from the seniors on nature of the written test being imparted and process of interview of different industries. Placement Department also regularly organizes talks from the various professionals from different universities for pursuing higher education in abroad and talks from trainers for taking competitive exams like CAT, GMAT, Aptitude etc.
