The Institutes are approved by AICTE & Govt. of Madhya Pradesh and having NAAC Accreditation. Technical courses are affiliated to RGPV University Bhopal, while management and educational courses are affiliated to Barkatullah University Bhopal. The IES Public school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.

The Group has two technical institutes - IES College of Technology, and IES Institute of Technology and Management. These institutes offer UG courses and PG programs with specializations in various disciplines under the emerging areas of Engineering and Technology. Major steps in the strengthening of our academic programme, is the introduction of Fire Technology and Safety Engineering.

Initially popular for its Technical education,  the IES Group has grown and diversified to meet the changing needs of time and education, with the introduction of courses in Commerce, Teacher Education and Management to meet the educational demand in the above fields.

IES Group of Institutions is located at Kalkheda, Ratibad main road in Bhopal at a distance of 16 km from Bhopal Airport, 14 km from Bhopal Railway station and 7 km from New Market. Local bus transport system connects the sprawling area of 50 acres lush green campus to the Main City. The verdant ambiance has been felicitated as the first "Green Building Campus of MP" by IGBC, Hyderabad.  It also obtained the privilege of being the first Tobacco Free Campus of the State by M.P. Government

The Technical Institute has completed one rewarding Decade in 2017. In this duration, the institute gained ranking among the renowned institutes in the nation and was awarded for many of its regular as well as unique initiatives. Several batches of students achieved their goals by obtaining outstanding results, winning competitions at the national level and landing coveted jobs in leading MNCs.  The Management and faculties feel fulfilled and motivated by growth of the institute and the faith shown in them by students, their families and the society at large. The bonding of the Institute with Industry is also strengthening with initiatives beyond curriculum, like Skill Development, Training for students and faculties by Professors from IITs, Tie ups with Microsoft, IBM etc., Up gradation to latest technology along with collaborations with associations like ASSOCAM,CII & YI.
